Design and build a treehouse that respects the tree and stands up to tropical storms. You’ll learn to choose and assess host trees, use tree-friendly attachment bolts that allow movement, frame a platform and add railings, roofing and access. The course ends with a finished build and a plan you can take home for your own site.
What to bring
- Work gloves, closed-toe boots and long pants
- Sun hat, sunscreen, insect repellent and a refillable water bottle
- A notebook — and questions about your own land
