Build an efficient rocket stove and a solar oven, then cook a full meal on fuel you gathered by hand. Cooking fuel is a daily cost most people never think about. Rocket stoves burn small sticks cleanly and efficiently; solar cookers use no fuel at all. You’ll learn: Combustion basics: air, fuel, heat and draft; Rocket stove geometry and insulation; Solar oven reflector and glazing design; Safe fire handling and smoke management.
